Hello ISOA Members! By the time you read this article, Spring, ’04 will only be weeks away. I can finally put away my winter stocking cap and wear my baseball caps. I am waiting for those warm winds to come from the south, the birds flying high in the sky flying north, and the sound of baseball. I have been quite busy with my new job and really have not been working on my Triumph Motor Cars. Nor have I driven them this year. While inspecting my hands, I don’t see any "factor" cuts, scratches, nor scabs. My fingernails look normal, I cannot see any motor grime on my hands or under my finger nails. The pain that I use to feel from my left elbow has gone away. I can’t remember the last time I got rust in either one of my eyes. YES, I have not been working on my Triumphs! That is going to change real fast! The list of Triumph related work is quite long. The 1980 TR7 needs an oil change and fluids topped up, the ’67 Spitfire needs a new intake manifold gasket, the TR3 needs the rear hubs rebuilt so the rear axle can be re-installed along with all the front suspension parts that was recently powder coated. The ’78 TR8 has a driver side front end noise, and the Propane 2004 Challenge Car needs only a few things to make it go Voom. Voom and go real fast. The days are getting longer, my waistline is getting bigger, and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of my Triumphs this Spring. I am the "Factor"!
