Automotive Info and Maintenance Sites
- One of the best Triumph technical pages I've seen to date is the
TR6 Reference page (MS Word format) on the
Cape Cod British
Car Club Technical page, compiled by Jay Welch of Abingdon, MA. While it's primarily written for TR6s,
this page contains a lot of valuable information and links that I've not seen anywhere else.
- Visit the Buckeye Triumphs Triumph technical page.
While it has been scaled down recently, there are still a number of useful articles there.
- The Cool Cat Corp. site is primarily for Jaguar E-Types, but it has a very good section on theory,
diagnosis and repair of early (11AC) Lucas
Alternators
- Visit the Autoshop
for a wide variety of information on how your car works, usually in terms for the layman. They
can also help diagnose your problems (for a fee) if you can't figure them out yourself. This site
also has a lot of maintenance
tips to help keep all of your cars in tip-top shape.
- Check out the Autosite. In addition to
their fee-based service for determining new vehicle prices, options, etc., they have a free
section with an extensive garage
menu of maintenance and troubleshooting tips, along with an
encyclopedia
section on how to do a lot of the work on your car (beyond the basics)...
- Having problems with fuel injection? Here's a link to a page on
EFI problem
diagnosis which may be useful. The TR8 uses a variant of the Bosch L-Jetronic
system. A second site has a diagnosis section with a manual (in scanned .gif form) for the
L-Jetronic with Lambda system.
- Brother Bob's Auto Repair
page. This is just a small subsection of
Brother Bob's Fixit Shop
- The Auto Channel
- Take a look at the Engine
Oil Filter Study for an inside look at the oil filters available on the market.

fee ". Placing a large order on a single invoice instead of several small orders on
